Mario Pasalic made up for a Gianluigi Donnarumma howler – letting Gabriel Paletta’s back-pass roll in – but Milan only scraped a point at Pescara.

The Rossoneri needed to push their way back into the race for a Europa League spot and visited a Pescara side that had lost five in a row. Suso, Andrea Bertolacci, Ignazio Abate, Giacomo Bonaventura and Riccardo Montolivo missed out, while ex-Delfini hero Gianluca Lapadula was on the bench in his emotional return to the Adriatico. Zdenek Zeman had to do without Andrea Coda, Davide Vitturini, Alberto Gilardino, Simone Pepe and Guglielmo Stendardo. He started Mamadou Coulibaly, an 18-year-old midfielder who arrived from Senegal on a boat in December 2015 and was homeless for a while, but now found himself in Serie A.
